Find out about the life and work of Galileo in a fast-paced thriller! Florence, 1633. Galileo is 63 years old.
He has been summoned to go to Rome by the Inquisition because of his innovatory theories on astronomy that he has expressed in his books, his personal correspondence and in discussions with some of his students.
On his way to Rome, he stops off for a few days with his friends the Borghi to prepare his defence. Jacopo and Livia Borghi, 11-year-old twins, are fascinated by the scientist and have hundreds of questions to ask him about his discoveries. Galileo tells them about his life and work but, unexpectedly, his detractors interrupt his stay, threatening his life…
