Kid is a lonely child who loves the sea and walking on the shore. The pockets of his big raincoat are so full that his feet sink into the sand and he can’t run or play. Is he hiding any pretty shells? Every day, Kid gets into his boat. One morning, the sea is like a huge mirror, Kid watches the clouds roll across the water. Carried away by the weight of his pockets, he capsizes and sinks into the abyss. He asks two fish for help, but they are powerless. Each one asks him: «What makes you so heavy, you who are so small? When he reaches the bottom, he meets a third fish, who asks him questions in his turn.

Then Kid slowly starts emptying his pockets. There he hid his sadnesses, wounds and disappointments, which had become large black pebbles and which he now placed on the ground. Relieved, lightened, he resurfaces and returns to the shore where other children are playing.
