Three children are playing at the beachside. Oliver finds a fine stone. To Oliver it looks like a penguin. But his siblings see it as something different. Oliver realizes that things may look differently depending on the point of view. Their parents call out to them, to gather for lunch. Now the reader realizes that Oliver is transgender – posing the question to his dad: “Why do you call me Olivia, my name is Oliver …” Yes, things may look differently depending on the point of view. The book is national winner of a competition about transgenderism.
