Me, Gisèle

Outraged, rebellious, free – that was Gisèle Halimi from her earliest childhood! Represented here by a strikingly modern heroine, this ball of energy and willpower takes us on a journey with her, through a dozen sketches, each divided into three pages, to tackle the themes of injustice, choice, consent, knowledge, studies, the female condition…

Backed by modern, lively graphics and narration, this comic book, which combines the skills and talents of Sandrine Bonini and Annick Cojean, is a must-have for everyone!

A comic book version for 8/10 year-olds, in the spirit of Pénélope Bagieu’s famous Culottées!

A universal theme, an engaging and powerful heroine; stories inspired by the life of Gisèle Halimi that will speak to today’s pre-teens.
