The Flower of the Waves

This is a story of a little girl who is like no other. Every day she looks out of her window from her house on the quayside and scans the horizon for the big ship that comes every day: the Flower of the Waves. But one day, it doesn’t come. The port seems empty and lonely. Her grandfather suggests that perhaps the ship has gone looking for another island just as she, one day, will break free and go looking for other things…
